⚡ Flashpoly
Terms, fairness & privacy — in plain English
How the game works (fairness)
Flashpoly is a pari-mutuel game: everyone's stakes on a round go into one shared pool,
and the winning side splits the pool in proportion to their stakes. You play against the pool, not against
a bookmaker's odds.
- The price is independent. BTC/USD comes from the Pyth network oracle — we don't set it,
touch it, or know it in advance. If the move is within a tiny epsilon, the round is a tie and everyone is
refunded in full.
- The fee is 3% of the pool, taken only when a round has winners and losers, and capped so
a winner can never receive less than their stake back. Rounds with no winners (or no losers) are refunded
in full — the house never pockets a round players couldn't win.
- House players are real participants. Some players in each pool are operated by Flashpoly
to keep rounds active. They stake from the house's own funds, follow the same rules, see the same price at
the same time, and win or lose like anyone else. They have no informational advantage — the house's edge is
the 3% fee, nothing else.
- Practice mode is free and pays nothing. Practice wins accrue a "would have won" counter
that shows what the same calls would have paid for real. Practice never enters the real pool and is never
withdrawable cash.
- Every payment is on-chain. Deposits and withdrawals are USDC transactions on Solana that
you can verify yourself on any block explorer.
Terms of use
- You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to play with real money.
- Real-money games of chance are restricted or prohibited in some jurisdictions. It is your
responsibility to ensure playing is lawful where you are; don't use Flashpoly where it isn't.
- One account per person. Accounts used for abuse, exploitation of bugs, or money laundering will be
closed and lawful remedies pursued; verified balances are returned.
- Deposits and withdrawals are in USDC on Solana only. Funds sent as other tokens or on
other networks cannot be recovered.
- Withdrawal limits (per-transaction auto-payout, daily caps) exist for everyone's protection and are shown
in the withdrawal screen.
- We may pause deposits, withdrawals, or play to protect player funds — for example during a technical
incident. Player balances remain owed to players.
Risk, in one paragraph
You can lose the money you play with. Rounds are effectively coin-flips on a live market
price; the 3% fee means the house wins over time by volume, and a typical player's balance will decline the
longer they play. Play for fun, with money you can afford to lose. This is entertainment, not investing,
and nothing here is financial advice. If gambling stops being fun, stop — and seek help
(BeGambleAware).
Privacy
- We store the minimum: your email (for sign-in), a display name, your balance and game
history, and your deposit address. No passwords exist — sign-in is by magic link.
- Blockchain transactions are public by nature — anyone can see USDC moving to and from
addresses on Solana.
- We measure traffic with our own server-side counters — no third-party trackers, no ad pixels, no cookies
beyond your session.
- We never sell your data. We share it only if the law requires.
