Plain-English mechanics
Flashpoly creates recurring, player-pooled prediction markets. Participants take UP or DOWN positions, an independent live price settles the outcome, and the correct side splits the pool.
The market loop
The server controls the clock. The interface mirrors the same timestamps for every participant.
A new recurring market begins.
Select UP or DOWN before lock.
The outcome runs from the locked reference.
The correct side receives its return.
Every market states the question, available positions, entry deadline, resolution time, data source, and payout rule. The current Bitcoin market asks whether BTC/USD will finish above or below its lock price after five seconds.
Participants select UP or DOWN and choose a stake. Their calls join the corresponding side of the shared pool. The interface shows the money and number of calls on each side.
Before lock, the displayed return is an estimate. A new position changes the pool composition, so the estimate can move until entry closes.
At the end of the entry window, the market records its reference price and stops accepting positions. The pool and estimated returns freeze. No participant can switch sides or add a call after lock.
At resolution, Flashpoly compares the final live-data value with the locked reference. For the current market, a higher Pyth BTC/USD price means UP wins, a lower price means DOWN wins, and a movement within the stated tie threshold returns stakes.
Flashpoly's current markets are pari-mutuel. Every stake enters one shared pool. After the result, participants on the correct side split the distributable pool in proportion to how much they contributed to the winning side.
The current fee is 3% of the total mixed pool, capped at the losing side. A winning payout includes the returned stake. The settlement engine uses integer cents and distributes rounding remainder so no cent silently disappears.
Ties and voids return all stakes without a fee. One-sided pools also return stakes because there was no opposing position. If the live price is stale at settlement during a real-money round, that round voids instead of settling against uncertain data.
Flashpoly does not publish fixed bookmaker odds. Pool composition determines the estimated return, which freezes at lock.
Participation modes
Anonymous visitors receive practice calls. Nothing is deducted, the call does not enter the real pool, and any displayed practice return is not withdrawable.
Signed-in players use their Flashpoly USDC balance when real-money participation is available and lawful for them.
Eligible balances can be requested to a valid Solana USDC address, subject to the limits and checks shown in the withdrawal flow.
Flashpoly may place house-funded participants in a pool to keep recurring markets active. Those entries use house funds, enter before lock, settle against the same price, and can win or lose under the same pool rule. They are not independent human traction and should not be interpreted as unique users.
Very short price movement is highly uncertain. A player can lose the complete stake on an incorrect real-money call. Because mixed pools charge a fee, a typical player's balance is expected to decline over repeated play. Flashpoly is entertainment, not investing or a reliable method of earning income.
